Jonbo's eye tutorial

Post by jonbo »

I know this subject has been covered a bunch of times, but someone asked me recently on some tricks for them and while making a video response it kind of morphed into this. So I figured I would post it to see if anyone would be interested.

What I like about your technique is that it offers a way to make a character that could be use by both version of the software in using switch layer or action file.

I just learn how to create group from this video as well.

I just realize using the masking effect to make eyes, that it would be harder to create switch and action together!

I saw the other eye making video and both were good, but I did pick up something new in this one and it was very well put!

Yes, good job. I like that the session is straight forward without any digressions or missteps.

Useful tutorial and actually covers a lot of important techniques such as shape buiding, filling shapes, selection groups, switches, and actions. This method without masking is good if you want to export to swf in particular.
