Do anyone of you know why my patch layers don´t render? Im getting quite frustrated on this now.

I made You a little patch layer file example where it works fine.

Can You post the file so We can have a look, maybe You did not assign the right layer to the patch, as it has to be assigned to the layer beneath the one on top.
Sometimes I get that they just vanish, then I redo them and they work.

Well, technically patch layers aren't supposed to render. What they do is mask out the outline of any layers between it and the target layer. Also, the area of masking is defined by a circle which can be manipulated with the layer tools.Stekyta wrote:Do anyone of you know why my patch layers don´t render? Check that the layer you want to mask is between the patch and target, and check if the circle is in the right location.
Beyond that, we'd need more info I think.
