Post by lumarama »

Here is my short (very tiny but completed). Just in case if someone doesn't know russian ( :) ) here is the translation:

Bear: Rabbit, does your shit ever stuck to your fur?
Rabbit: Nope.
Bear: Good for you...

And here is the short:

You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

How about a short feature about the former Circus bear, who when let free still paced back and forth in the same dimensions as his cage. So they shot him.

I remember there was a guy on the forum who is making cruel series about 3 bears - I guess this would be good scenario for him :))

Thanks, you mean it is old joke in English part of the Internet too? Very interesting I thought it is purely Russian joke. I mean my animation is based on well known Russian joke. Could you give a link to its English version?

Regarding 3d. I like 2d now... it has certain limitations, but I don't think it is very important if you have good story... Unfortunately I don't have very good story yet :)

I actually heard this joke from a coworker back in the eighties. He told it really well (you know, with physical comedy), which is why I still remember it today. I wasn't aware of its Russian origins however. I see on the internet that the rabbit represents the workers and the bear is...well, now it has a whole new level of meaning.
