Hey Synth is your character for any particular purpose.... is she for a larger project?
Could be later, but I'm just trying to develope my designs at this point.

This looks like it'll work for the extremes. But I just did this test that looks real good.

I left scale compensation on. What I did was create a single outline shape for the whole thing. ( Selecting all excluding the lines that should be hidden) I named this outline shape so it'd be easy to find, and gave it a five width black line. Then I just match making this shape transparent with my camera zoom.

I think it works pretty well. The only problem is that about half-way through the zoom the iris outline is opaque enought to be seen 'through' the eyelids, but fast enough eye blinks should hide that.

p.s. This is the only way I could think of that allows easy adjustment from one setting.

That looks great!!! There is definately a different technique needed for each style, realistic and cartoon....I started another thread on using shape fills but this seems to be more suited to cartoon bold outlined stuff.

Love that girl ;)
