is there a way to create a tracker path on a "video" that consist of an image sequence (imported via Script->Image Sequence)?

It would be a great feature to implement something that Adobe after effect has. I think if I were to do this is to make an oversize video of the footage with extra outside blank area and use after effect to stabilize the subject that you wish to track, then place the animation in it and then resize the video back to normal and re-stabilize the edge to final output. If you have a long footage it may save time rather than manually track a subject inside Anime Studio.

Stabilize, animate in AS, and then remove the stabilization could be an option.
Although i'm not quite sure if it works with z-movement, i have footage with zooms and the tracking information needs to be combined with the scaling of the AS-object.
The problem is to stabilize the source-footage in z, so i think it must be scaled. x,y movement shouldn't be the problem.
I don't use AE so i have to try it in my compositing tool.
