Perspective problems?

Post by kellz5460 »

Ok...I've made drawing and it's at a certain angle...

the problem is I want to a camera pan up but everytime I do It messes up the drawing layer and it ends up looking exploded out

basically ive made something similar to this user interface

Image

and when I move the camera to pan up basically it looks like the drawing comes apart

is there anyway to get around this?

Is there a reason you want to pan the camera up? Couldn't you just move the layer up instead using the layer translate tool?Moving the layer will keep the workspace facing the camera.

i did try that and it ended up doing the same thing- It pushed the drawing out of sync so it looked like the layers exploded or either moved out of where they were supposed to be

i also tried regrouping all the layers but that didnt work either

When you created the layers , did you make any changes in the z-axis? I've seen similar problems before when shapes were place on a z-axis other than 0

yeah the layers must be distributed on the Z axis - its the only explanation... bring them all to 0, then you'll probably have to scale and move them to get back to the look you had in the beginning...
