Fade in-out transparency of an image?

Fade in-out transparency of an image?

Hey I'm wondering if its posible to do a Fade in-out transparency of an image? Animate a transparency?

you can with the layer transparency or animating the colour fill, but you dont see it in the live view - until it's rendered

Thanks! What if its a png file not an anime studio vector?

Thanks for your answer.
Go to the image layer proprieties, check "allow animated layer effects" and press ok. Then go to the frame you want, open the proprieties again and instert 0 (zero) on Opacity. Click ok and you will have two keyframes, one in frame cero representing 100% of opacity and another representing the 0%. Render it to check the fade is working.
