Aliens encounter a blender

The guidelines for this video were:
1) Feature a character facing a situation above his maturity level
2) The line, "I demand an explanation for these shenanigans! What do you have to say!?"
3) The passing of a photograph.

This was extreme last minute- put it together in 2 nights.

I don't know of you are looking for feedback or what -- if not, please ignore this post (because I mean it to be helpful).

I think there's a lot of cute stuff there, but a couple of things keep it from being complete.

1) Need spaceship sound -- yep, no sound in space, but it's very odd.

2) Need spaceship rocket jets shooting out -- once again, not accurate but needed there for the whole tone. I'd have the sound of the rocket muted while you go inside.

3) You set up the animation great for a punchline... and then there isn't one (or it isn't as good as the setup). I'm not sure what the punch should be, but "Good times" ain't it.

I was definitely laughing and enjoying the dancing and the spirit of the middle -- but that made me want a great ending all the more. You've obviously extremely talented, so don't just settle. Hit the ball out of the park next time with an ending as great as the setup and middle.

Thanks for the reply. I agree with all your points- the main reason it's "incomplete" is I was trying to meet a deadline for a contest. I think from about the part where they were throwing in fruit, I looked at the clock and I only had an hour to finish- which is why the animation is lacking towards the end...

Contest was due on a friday, so I did everything in 2 nights after work (sound mixing, designing and drawing the characters, and animation). I didn't come up with main idea for the story- my friend did. I had suggested that after they turn on the blender, they would think they just killed it, and when they hand the picture at the end they start sobbing uncontrollably.

I really didn't think I was going to make the contest deadline- the submission page shut down before I had a chance to submit it (while I was waiting on youtube to process the video). I emailed them and luckily they manually submitted it for me.
