Hi,
I created an animation on the Mainline. How can I convert this animation to a new Action?
Thx, TGCo.
P.S.: Sorry my bad English....

it's interesting me too.
By the way.. how can i move an animation from a layer to an other layer? i can't do copy, paste. is there any solution?
Perhaps it's not possible, mostly with a totally different layer. But i mean if i have 2 copy of the same layer.

To copy an animation from the main timeline to an action:
1. Create a new action (or select an existing one) in the Actions window. This action should be "active" - it should have a red arrow next to it.
2. Go to the frame you want to copy the main animation to.
3. Click once on "Mainline" in the Actions window to highlight it.
4. Press the "Insert Copy" button in the Actions window.
For the other question: no, you can't copy/paste animation from one layer to another.

However, if you animate a layer then duplicate it, the duplicated layer also contains a copy of the animation keyframes, which you can then edit.
