Save default layout?

I have been searching the forum but can't seem to find what I am looking for. I have AS Pro and everytime I launch it, I get the default project with the anime character (which is cool) but I always have to close it before working. Also - AS never remembers my layout state. I always have to re-organize panels and the stage. I looked in prefs but there isn't an option to save current layout. Is there a script somewhere perhaps?

I think the file you are looking for is called StartupFile.anme somewhere in the AS folder. I think you just make it blank or something. I've never done it myself so I'm guessing.

Yeah - that helps a lot - i moved the default file and made my own. It's not perfect since the workspace won't launch maximized but all in all the menus are positioned exactly and it's a lot easier not having to close the anime project. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

The main window in Anime Studio will launch maximized if you go to your Anime Studio shortcut, right click, pick properties and in the Shortcut tab you'll see you can pick "Normal Window" "Maximized" etc Not sure if that is what you want.
