my AS cherry has been popped and I am quite impressed by the bones/image warp feature.

Thanks AS!

Thanks - i admit it is very simple - but it works and it will shave hours off my production as I animate several children's books for a TV show. very cool.

Nice start Chris. I've known of your work over at keyframer and with Adobe/macromedia. It's nice to see you taking a dip into AS as well.

As for the project. Am I to understand that you are scanning some of the illustrations from printed books and then animating the characters with AS? I've not begun to work with images yet (trying to work in vectors for now) but I can certainly see that process as being a big time saver. I'm sure Geordi will be quite happy with the results. :P

Thanks Thatch - that's always nice to hear and even better to be recognized - means a lot.

yeah - scanning from books - then quick masking out the characters and making plates from the backgrounds. Importing character layers into AS and hence the sample. I am using just the basic version of AS currently. I haven't researched the difference between what I have and the Pro version - but so far so good.
