auto gather source files when saving

Hi Moho Experts,

just want to know if there is a way to automatically gather source files when saving moho files? as least a pop up window that reminds you to gather files is also good. Thank you

You could change the shortcut for Save to Gather Media.

Thank you Synthsin, i looks like when gathering media, it always create a new folder and save a new copy of the previous file. is there a way to override the current copy and save the gathered media to the current folder?

How about...

Set the document
Import everything you need
Gather media

close the current file and then, open and work on that file, from the Gathered media folder.
You can keep the CtrlS since the new versions will now be saved in that Gathered media folder

Ah, yeah. Even selecting the gathered folder again overwrites the moho file but makes a new material list every time. That might work, but would get cluttered.
So Maestral's option would work best. Just enable Preferences>Documents>Open and switch to new file after Gather. This will save the step of closing and reopening the gathered file.
