Please display only .moho files when saving
I've saved the project file as .mp4 mistakenly many times because Moho displays all formats by default. Please consider to display only .moho format files by default when saving a project. I lost 3 projects today due to this behavior. Thanks in advance.

If it's just the extension, just change it to .moho and everything will go back to normal. It already happened to me. Now if you overwrote a file, it gets complicated. In my case I work in the cloud and can pull a previous version when something similar happens.

That sounds odd. My Moho always saves to a .moho file by default.
Is yours defaulting to .mp4? Or are you clicking on an existing file to reuse its name and extension, and accidentally clicking on an .mp4 file?
If it's the latter, I recommend setting your output to a dedicated output folder. This way, you will only ever see .moho files in the root of your project folder.
Personally, I've always found it super annoying that Moho wants to save the output to the same folder as the project file. I prefer using Moho Exporter to set up a render profile for the project so it always points to the preferred output folder. It's not an ideal system, but it works.
(Moho really should have a spot in the Project Settings window to set a user-defined output filename and directory for the project. Still hoping this will happen.)

Yeah it worked before but not yesterday. I have no screenshots but Moho couldn't open it by missing a JSON file, if I remember correctly.lucasfranca wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2024 2:19 pm If it's just the extension, just change it to .moho and everything will go back to normal. Well, I sometimes reuse a file name from .mp4 file and this is why I posted "please display only .moho files". If saving a project file without formats, Moho saves it as .moho. I'm sure it's not an odd behavior, but as you said, I hope there's an option like it too. I'll check Moho Exporter for better workflow.Greenlaw wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2024 5:42 pm That sounds odd.
