I'm looking for moho old version please help me :(
Does anyone have 13.0 , 13.0.1 or 13.0.2 Mac versions of Moho? Can you please send it to me? I was using windows before but now i switched to macbook. Version 13.0 works faster for me than version 13.5. I don't know, but I think it's because of my characters with too many layers and i made all characters on moho 13. I can't reach it in any way now because it was sold to lost marble from moho smith micro. Please help me

Yes that's true, I also use many layers, Moho 12.5 and Moho 13.0 are faster I don't know why.opeth wrote: ↑Mon May 01, 2023 1:39 am Does anyone have 13.0 , 13.0.1 or 13.0.2 Mac versions of Moho? You can download older versions of Moho from this page: https://my.smithmicro.com/. These are the official final installers for Moho/ASP 10.1.3, 11.2, 12.5, and 13.0.
Moho 13.5.5's installer cab be downloaded from the Lost Marble website.
For my current work, I use Moho 13.5.5 and Moho 12.5. Moho 13.5.5 is the best version to use right now, and of the older versions, Moho 12.5 is the most solid performer.
IMO, Moho 13.0 should be avoided because it has too many problems and can't be relied on for production use.
Hope this helps.

Correction: I guess you can't download version 13.0 from that page...but seriously, don't use Moho 13.0 because it was really bad.
You can get all the other old versions I mentioned from that page though, notably Moho 12.5.
As mentioned above. Moho 13.5.5 is the best version to use now, and 12.5 is the best version to fall back on when you need to use an older version.

Re: I'm looking for moho old version please help me :(
all my work runs faster on moho version 13 for some reason. For example, there are 5 characters in the scene (consisting of many vector layers). When I open it with Moho 13, I work without any lag, but for some reason, when I open it with 13.5, it starts to lag. I had the same problem when I switched from windows to mac pro. So I'm looking for version 13.0.2 for my new mac book.bbrraayyaann wrote: ↑Mon May 01, 2023 2:34 amYes that's true, I also use many layers, Moho 12.5 and Moho 13.0 are faster I don't know why.opeth wrote: ↑Mon May 01, 2023 1:39 am Does anyone have 13.0 , 13.0.1 or 13.0.2 Mac versions of Moho? Re: I'm looking for moho old version please help me :(
I joined the Moho family with 13 and due to the problems experienced at that time, I sent an e-mail to smith micro and then lost marble via support and requested the 12.5 version, but unfortunately they did not return. I bought Moho version 13 from smith micro but now it's on lost marble and they also have version 13.5 . I did all my character drawings and backgrounds with moho 13, maybe it's because of that, I don't know.Greenlaw wrote: ↑Mon May 01, 2023 4:40 am Correction: I guess you can't download version 13.0 from that page...but seriously, don't use Moho 13.0 because it was really bad.

If I repeat, moho 13.5 version works slower than moho 13.0 in intense scenes.
Can't Lost Marble support help me with this? I was really in trouble.

To use Moho 12.5 you will need an activation key specifically for Moho 12.5. So, if you don't already own a Moho 12.5 activation key, I would give up on that route. TBH, Moho 13.5.5's code is based on 12.5's code, so at it core anyway it should perform the same.
Personally, I think your best bet is to use 13.5.5 and figure out why it's being so slow. Whenever I hear about slow performance, it's often because of the negative keyframe error that can occur randomly for some users. To test for and to fix this, use Synthsin75's Find And Delete Negative Keyframes script here...

Since you constructed the rigs in 13.0, I would check that the Smart Bone Actions are valid for 13.5.5. Smith Micro made deep changes in Moho 13.0 with how Smart Bone Actions are identified and this broke a lot of existing rigs, projects, and commonly used workflows, which is why many pro users skipped version 13.0. This was also one reason Lost Marble decided to build Moho 13.5.5 on 12.5 code instead of 13.0.
Back when I was bringing some of my Moho 13.0 rigs into 13.5.5, it took a little work to get them to work properly. But once I got everything updated for 13.5.5 and made sure the timeline was clean, I got the same performance I had with Moho 12.5. Nowadays I try to build everything for 13.5.5 and occasionally use 12.5 for legacy reasons.
Hope this helps.

One more thing comes to mind...
Some users have reported issues when using Reference Layers in Moho 13.5.5, so if you're using Reference layers you may want to look there. To test for this, make a copy of your project and then break the References by r-clicking and choosing Break Layer Reference. This turns the layer into a regular layer. Repeat this for every Reference layer in your project, and then check to see if this helps performance at all.
If it does help, you can either move on or, if you really need the References, you can go back and isolate the one that's slowing down your scene and recreate that one.
I'm not sure this will help you but it's worth a try.
Good luck!

Another thing I thought of...
If the problem occurs in multiple projects and you're referencing character rigs imported form individual 'master' projects, I would check the 'master' projects for the above issues. It could be that your animation projects all fine but the slow down is coming from the referenced rigs. In this case, fixing the rigs should improve all the projects that reference those rigs.

Thank you very much Greenlaw for all your answers. I tried all possibilities but something is wrong. Now I have switched from windows to macbook pro and I am going to work by revising it again with the moho 13.5 version. It's okay for now, but I just need to spend some more timeGreenlaw wrote: ↑Mon May 01, 2023 4:44 pm Another thing I thought of...

One more thing: A user reported that using Vitruvian Bones can slow down Moho's performance, so if you're using this feature you may need to simplify something. I haven't noticed the slow down myself but I think my use of V-boes thus far has been fairly simple.
Obviously, switching to an older version of Moho won't help because this feature did not exist in previous versions. But if you really need to go back to an older version of Moho, you can use Victor's old 'switch bones' trick to simulate what Vitruvian Bones does in 13.5.5.
