That's the look of the new bones in 13.5. There are no longer the center lines and cross. You can change the size however, Preferences > Layers/Objects > Bone Display Width, (bottom left).

Thank you for an awesome tip. Also not covered in the users manual. Would you happen to know how to reset the Timeline Channel so I can see what Im doing working from my laptop. Thanks in advance
