Before you do anything else: make a backup of your system
at least, of your home folder. If anything goes wrong, you can always retrieve your data.
If you want to do a clean install of Moho, you should start by deleting Moho's preference list in your home folder:
1) delete ~/library/Preferences/com.lostmarble.MohoApp.plist
~ is the same as /users/yourname, where you should replace "yourname" with your short account name (login, i.e. all undercast, no spaces).
Sometimes this is enough to solve any "unexplainable" bugs you seem to have and other Mac users don't.
However, this might not be enough. It is possible that you need to delete the Moho application folder as well and reinstall Moho.
If you have followed the security advice from the Mac Geekery website, you know that you shouldn't use an administrator account as a daily account and certain folders shouldn't be easy to modify without the administrator login and password.
So for the next part, I assume, you log in as an administrator, and do the following:
2) delete the /applications/Moho folder
3) download the latest Mac version of Moho from the download page
4) unzip the file and double-click the resulting installer file (moho_macos_5.3.pkg for Moho 5.3 for Mac OS X). Follow the installation instructions.
5) start Moho in the /applications/Moho folder and enter your registration number
6) exit Moho
Now you're done with the administrator user account, log out and log in with your daily non-administrator account. If you don't want to use such an account (unwise, but you're the boss of your own system), keep logged in and continue using Moho.
