Hi
This is a problem, I want to replace PSD file on duplicated rig with one a bit different, and keep original psd file on original rig.
For example - I have rig made with psd file of a character that is in red color, now I want second character that is the same but it is in green color.
If I change color on layers of original PSD, it will effect the first rig too and I don't want that, that's why I need changed psd file on duplicated rig.
Hope I was clear,
any solution?
thanks!

Re: Replacing PSD file on duplicated rig
in rig 2: in the Layer Settings for the .psd: in the "image" tab: image settings / set source image: click that and pick the green variant.
not sure how that might affect layer bindings .. so give it a go and see how far it works in your setup??

Re: Replacing PSD file on duplicated rig
Thank you!
I just try it, it could be done like that. I just need to save new psd layers as separate pics and then replace it.
Cheers!

Re: Replacing PSD file on duplicated rig
This is one of many reasons I recommend outputting layers instead of using a single layered PSD file. The Layered PSD feature is convenient until it isn't, which has been pretty much every time I try to use it. With layered PSD, it's too easy to break the system and too difficult to replace layers unless you commit to following specific layer editing rules. To me, using separate and easily replaceable image files is more reliable, and keeps my editing options open and flexible.
If you're using Photoshop, I recommend using the free Photoshop-Export-To-Layers-Fast plugin; it features a lot of options that work well with Moho, and is indeed faster than the native exporter, and you can set it to overwrite previous layer output, and Moho will pick up on the changes and update the project immediately. (Well, it will usually.)
