program has encountered an error and will close
my upgrade to moho 12 from anime studio debut has caused problems making this software almost unable to use. I cannot use this program for more than five minutes without encountering an error and it closing. Tech support doesn't seem to have a clue, they keep asking for the error logs (dmp files) on my machine even though they don't exist. per Microsoft tech's they are active and enabled and my machine is more than capable of handling this software. has anyone on this forum encountered this problem and is there a fix? please respond the frustration is mounting with tech support and all I want is to use this expensive software.

Not enough info for anyone to diagnose. What are you doing when it crashes? If you can't provide repeatable steps (or dump log), no one can troubleshoot it.

thank you. I did provide detailed system info i.e ram, video card maker, hd space etc.as well as photo of on screen warning and details of what I was doing, the dump log just doesn't exist. Well then you either have to wait for them or provide the same info here...to see if anyone here has any ideas.

I have a few questions about the problems you are experiencing.
Are you using a legitimate copy of the software? A cracked version may exhibit any number of issues.
You upgraded from Debut 11 to Moho Debut 11 or Pro?
What language setting are you using?
If you are getting an error alert message, what does it say _exactly_?
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software?
I don't believe I have seen a report on this from our tech support.

Some very odd things occur now and then with problematic video drivers. Or, if you have a Wacom device, touch drivers can have problems. Make sure all your drivers are up to date, particularly after applying system software updates.
You can test if this is somehow gpu related by going to the application Preferences, General tab, and uncheck "Enable GPU".

Thanks for your replies : I finally updated my whole system (clean install) and reinstalled Moho, which now seems to work perfectly -- yes, the hard way.
OS X did obviously need to be reinstalled, not only Moho.
Not sure this helps a lot solving the issue I 'm afraid, but the problem may have come from my own computer, which I needed urgently for professional matters, and with unfortunately very little time to look this over more closely.
