Hallo,
I'm a noob to moho, and I (want to) create my first work. It is a little elefant, which looks like the one of the german "Sendung mit der Maus".
But I can't fill this shape - at present it isn't a shape.
I select some points, choose "Edit > choose connected" and all the points are highlighted red. When I press space bar, they just get unselected and there is no filling.
Think I got to close the shape, but how?
Thanks for your help
Manfred
How to close shape for filling

Well, there is another possibility, as you can see in the example above: the shape IS closed, but between some points there are double curves. Sometime you can't see those double curves, because they are on top of eachother.
It is requires a lot of detective work to find and eliminate those overlapping double curves (especially if there are multiple ones in your shape). In my experience it is much faster to create a new layer in Moho, trace the existing vector layer and then delete the old layer.
BTW An irritating habbit of some autotracers is that they use separate sets of points for the outline and fill of a closed shape. This means that when you select all the points of such a shape in Moho, you can't fill the shape. In fact, you have selected two separate shapes that are on top of eachother.
The solution to this particular problem is to click one of the points of the "shape", add the connected points and clear them through the Edit menu and use the remaining closed shape for further processing in Moho.
