Is it possible to create motion graphics?

Post by VirtualGoods »

Hello everyone! How are you? I have a question. Is it possible to create motion graphics / video graphics / infographics / kinetic typography in Anime Studio Pro? And is there any examples? Somebody told me it is "vector after effects." I don't know that. Is anyone? And can you please provide examples? I don't want to spend time learning after effects. I only want to use anime studio pro but i did not see any examples.

I do that all the time. It's possible, most time it's easy, some stuff is cmplicated.

Lots of people do it, and there are plenty of examples. You could start here:
Feed Me Animation Studio
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

I know there are some good character animations. But what i mean is creating something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4m9IQSpCNr0
Objects transitions, etc. Is there a spesific example? And what are the methods for this? Can you please provide a link ( tutorial).

That's totally possible in AS, maybe with exception of that glow/burn effect at the bat logo. And you have to do the shadows by hand.

Play around with AS, do one trick at the time, then you'll find how this can be made.

Certainly possible. Just check out any of the professional music videos created with ASP.

It's even better with 11.1 because of the new Layer Referencing feature. For the best results, you still want to output Comp Layers for your compositing program. (We use Fusion and/or After Effects.)

Now you might think, 'But if I have AE then why would I need ASP?" That depends on what you want to do with it. ASP offers a number of tools not available in AE, like the bones with IK and targeting, physical dynamics simulation, a set-drive key animation system called SmartBones, better drawing tools, Frame by Frame animation, and of course the aforementioned Comp Layers. You can even share camera data via scripting. IMO, the two programs compliment each other very well.

In theory, you should be able to use FBX to move the camera and assets to other animation and compositing programs that support it. (I should qualify that by saying I haven't tried this myself yet. Most of the time, I'm only interested in importing the rendered Comp Layers for compositing. But now that I'm thinking of it, I should run a test because we often mix 2D data with 3D programs.)

Hope this helps.
