Hey
I've barely gotten my hands on moho, but from seeing amateur animations on here it really looks easy enough to put all my talents to work. I've noticed moho only supports a single audio track, fine by me. How the hell does everyone synch their animations to the soundtracks? Lipsynch looks easy with papagayo, but what about setting it up in the timeline, telling it where to start and end, etc etc etc? I just wonder how its done. I use adobe audition so setting up a soundtrack is no problem, its just how the hell people know where to set points for this stuff? Is there a timeline preview as you scroll through frames?

newbie - barely even touched demo - audio synch?

It's easy peasy japanesey, in Moho's timeline it actually shows you the sound wave thing so you can see it just like it does in Papagayo, plus when you scroll the mouse around the timeline I'm pretty sure it gives you an audio preview just like Papagayo as well. Hope this makes sense as I'm drunk. Weeeeeeee. Anyway my point is it's quite easy my friend so don't stop till you get enough

oh man im pretty excited about all of this!
well in papagayo you dont want to input the entire soundtrack, so I was wondering how it would all be done - like i would insert the sound on top of the music in my program separately.. but how would you synch the papagayo timings with the sound once its inserted onto the soundtrack, etc?

If you have complex sound (i.e. multitrack sound), the best way to add sound is in a video editor, not in Moho. Importing sound in Moho is primarily for synchronizing sound and animation, so a single sound track suffices.
Of course, there is a way around this. You can export the seperate sound tracks from a sound editor as sound files and synchronize each sound file seperately with a part of the Moho animation (or even with a single character). If all your animation is done, you can create a final mix in your sound app, export the wave or aiff file and import that into Moho. With the final mix imported and all the animation done, you can export the completed animation from within Moho. This way you only have to invest into a decent sound app and can invest the money you saved in sound recording equipment instead.

yeah audio is no problem for me im just wondering if it can be previewed per frame basis in moho to test it out and see if its synched properly... i run a small bedroom studio and record bands whatnot, so thats not going to be a problem
so you can preview audio per frame?
you say to like pop in the speech soundtrack say for the entire thing and then synch and make it all then i could just mix in the music and we'd be good from there, right?
