My first movie

Post by red hamster »

http://shambler.altervista.org/index.html

I cannot finish it for halloween because personal problems but now my movie is ready.
I spend..lets see, over 2 months , I put some effort to made it.
The movie does contains a dose of twisted humor, a bit of nudity, a pair of monsters and moments of violence, so I suggest the vision for a mature (God, almost 16 years old) audience.
Hallowen Simbauna is over 6 minute and his size is almosto 30 mb in windows format

But wait a minute : who is Simbauna?
Simbauna Silva is the world greatest super hero: she does possess the strengh of Hercules, the Beautyness of Venus, the speed of Hyperion and the sword of Priapus.
Everybody loves Simbuana ,the superhero who makes the world a better place

I'm honestly stunned, at a loss for words.

I couldn't take my eyes off of it...

Hmmm... ok, if anything I type doesn't translate, let me know.

I really liked the voodoo? scene with the snakes and dancing native guy, and I always dig flesh-eating zombies.

I don't know what to say, this is kindof verging on brilliant in a sort of way, I literally couldn't take my eyes off of it.

Not sure about the Elvis (Jailhouse rock) music at the end, but then again I'm not familiar with the language.

It's got a story, and movement, and however you did the backgrounds with the ground (3D?) was interesting.

Edit: I spilled hot soup on my pants while watching it a second time...

Translate means this :" Did you like it or hate it" ? Your comment was not that clear to me.

Anyway , the jailsrock was an attemp to citate the Blues Brothers .
The movie is not perfect but I do prefer make a new one instead to spend another season to perfectionate this.

Yes I did all but the 3D city. But I'll do a 3d city to my own next time.

Okay, to fully translate:

I like it. It's rough, it's a little insane, but I enjoyed the hell out of it.

That was some crazy stuff, man...

By the way, who's face is on Simbauna?

WOW it was brilliant . You know its like a collage, all different textures and ideas. Just watching it makes you really start to think how you would like to use this effect and so on. I loved the blood coming from the zombies mouth.

Hey its not Disney (thank God...Yuck) but its art in my book
I really believe the way moho allows us to use media in a way thats not traditionally been used in amimation we are seeing the future of animation right here and I *uckin love it!

Thanks.
I worked to the project at least for 2 months and I mixed different things:movies, drawing,3D animation...is a little anarchic with some imperfection ( due for the lack of time) but , the next video will be much more advance.
For example, I learned how use switch layer with effectiveness only near the end of the work. Simbuana uses 2 different body and arm, the next characters will use severals different body, faces and limbs.

Moho is a great software with infinite chance , with fantasy and patience , the artist can do anything.

Hey! I wrote "at least 16 years"!
I don't want to shock anyone with my twisted humor! :D
1) the bystanders did not appreciate the street seller (what the name for this) Zambon and screamed him bad things.
2) Simbauna Silva is a sort of trasgressive, exotic, super hero (or super heroin? ). Everybody loves Simbuana. She makes the world a better place.

she's likes the elephants, it is a sort of trademark. No problem (unless you are walking under she's flying with the elephant).
I used mainly png layesr masked add to invisible vector layers with some 3D scenes made with conitec gamestudio maps used as background (movie layers).
