How can I Pan the camera over a background so that the rendered movie does not appear distorted. Also I would like to know how I can zoom in / zoom out the camera over a background and characters without distorting their appears.

The project setting will be as follows:

Use Track Camera, which moves in 2D (parallel to your scene), not Pan/Tilt Camera, which rotates in 3D, resulting in perspective distortion.

As long as you are using Track Camera, you should not get distortion when using Zoom.

Thanks Myles for the reply
I was able to elimate the disturbances but not 100%. I am sending you the a link to Moho file. when I render the animation for this file the border line of the sofa are appearing to vibrate/ Wobbling. Please help me to solve this problem. How can I achieve smooth camera movements with any disturbances.

Thank you

Hi anjum!

I took the liberty to look at your file and I'm rendering it right now, but I could see that you used "translate layer" and "scale layer" animation instead of using the camera functions like "track camera" and "zoom camera", anyway now it's rendered and I can see the line in the meeting of the walls are wobbling and also the telephone.
My suggestion is that you try the camera functions instead, maybe it will turn out okey

Thanks Musikboden

I am getting the same problem even if I use "track camera" and "zoom camera" thats why I have used "translate layer" and "scale layer" so that I can solve the problem. But it still persists. Can you provide with any other solution or suggestion that I should try.

Thankyou
