Handwritten font

Hi.
I downloaded handwritten font and I want make slowly appearing text, it look like someone wrote

The issue with using a font is that the paths that make up the letters follow the contour of each character and not the path a hand held writing tool makes.

If you want to make the text appear to be written slowly...very slowly...your best bet in ASP might be to trace the font text as a path and use the Stroke Exposure tool. (I used this recently to create an EKG signal animation and it worked very nicely.)

If the animation can be faster, you could simply type out the text and hand animate a mask to simulate the writing animation. I've done this on a few jobs in the past and this kind of reveal works well enough for normal handwriting speed, especially for small 'handwritten' text.
