how do i get the title to fade in?

I the animation to start at a black screen, then have the title come in. I can't figure out how to do it, since I can only animate on frame 0. I'm very good at explaining what I'm looking for, so I hope you guys get the gist of what I'm saying.

Set the later with the title's visibility to zero on frame 1, then set it to 100% on whatever frame you want it to be fully visible. To do this:

Double click on the title layer
Check "Animate Layer Properties"
Set the Opacity to 0
Go to whatever frame you want the title visible
Double click the title layer
Set Opacity to 100
