Timeline problem.
Everytime I copy a frame in Anime Studio pro 9 and paste it, instead of being independent from one another, it is linked! So if i work on a copied frame and make some adjustments such as tweaking some points, the same thing happens on the frame i copied it from. I do not want that to happen and this was not a problem in AS8. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? I already reinstalled it.
Re: Timeline problem.
This is a new feature. Make sure no key frames are selected when you edit. When you copy and paste keys, the original or pasted keys may still be selected. This feature will allow you to edit multiple key frames. For example if you have layer translation keys and want to move them all the same amount, you select all of the keys and translate the layer. This will move all keys the same amount keeping the existing relative layer translation keys.
This new feature is quite useful but you just have to remember NOT to use it as well.

Re: Timeline problem.
That absolutely drives me nuts.... The times that it is needed is far outnumbered by the times that it screws me up. There should be a toggle or check box to turn that feature on/off ... hint hint ... I'm looking right at you Vern. I will give you a brand new crispy $1 bill and a bag of Skittles if you can fix that. That's right, I said a $1 bill. All yours my Brother!

Ha ha!
I wish I could fix it but alas, this would most likely fall into "feature request" territory. I think possibly a key short cut to deselect all key frames would help. This might be scripted I think.
I have occasionally run into this issue a few times moving keys that are selected, but in my opinion the benefits outweigh any glitches. I LOVE THIS FEATURE!!! Saves SO much trouble for walk cycles and layer movements. I can select all of those layer translate keys and globally move stuff around. Awesome.
Actually, I am having trouble making that feature work for bones. I could have sworn that you could drag bones with key frames selected but I can't make it work. Maybe bone keys don't use that feature.

RATS! It was worth a shot...
Yeah, I'm not sure what it works on and what it doesn't. It usually seems to catch me on the layer translate tool. I see how it can save time but I just don't like how you can click on a layer that has a hi-lighted keyframe off screen. Then if something gets moved it's also moved on another part of the timeline.
I'm getting into the habit of clicking in space to deselect everything, but I'm just a knuckle-head... it still gets me quite often.

Yes, this has caught me out quite a lot recently and creates a lot more work then having to go through the timeline and copy and paste the correct keys back in place. It's one of those 'features' that seems to create more problems than it solves.
