Seamless cycling?

Post by daney7g »

I'm doing a tutorial made for flash (animated stills) and are trying to port over the idea into to anime studio in order to pick up some general techniques along the way and would like to know if its possible to cycle seamlessly using the cycle key-frame, i keep getting a very bumpy and obvious result when it completes a cycle and wonder if this problem can be solved or if there is a better way to loop seamlessly in anime studio. Thanks your help is appreciated. :D

Im using a fairly basic loop it starts on frame 1 and ends on frame 72 cycling back to frame 1, the frame rate is 24fps. The interpolation is set to linear.

I've posted an example vid to YouTube and it's set to loop every three seconds im sure you'll be able to see what i mean about the jerkiness of it.

if it's on linear and the last frame is definitely the same as the first, then you'll want to loop to frame 2 not 1 - try that and see how it goes.
Nice art, is it original?
