Tools Window

I have an old Macbookpro. I also was working on my Anime Studio Pro 8. I changed the GUI setting after I changed the setting. My tools window on the left side of the program is smaller than the average thumb nail. The window is there. But I can't see any of the tool buttons or operate them. I can barely see the tab title TOOLS. I've tried to use the keyboard short cut setting but not still no success. I've tried to expand the window using the macbook key board short cuts as well. That did not work. I have uninstalled the program twice and reinstalled and the window is still the same.

Can someone please help?
I'm almost done with my first set of character and environment and have no tools to manipulate them.
