Problem Importing Video Files

Is there a problem with ASP9's importing of video files? I have tried various formats (MOV, AVI, WMV, MP4 etc) and none are being recognised. Some formats do not show up in the import window and others that do import show up as a broken icon and do not play.

I have output the same video file in various formats using 6 different applications, Avid Studio, DVD Fab, Handbrake, Daniusoft Video Converter and a couple of trial versions of other video converters I downloaded and they are all recognised by everything except ASP9.

Am I missing something obvious or does ASP9 only recognise a very specific type of video format?

Any advice would be appreciated,
