Should I deinstal Anime Studio Pro 8 before installing version 9? Or should I leave version 8 on my computer? Is there any advance or disadvance to leave version 8 on the computer?
Thanks

There is no problem in having both versions installed.
Personally, I prefer to have more than one version installed, because sometimes I make tutorials for people who haven't the most recent release.

I have not been able to install it on my Vista PC machine. It will not accept the DEP exception, and will not run under winXP mode. I also tried to run it under administration. I am out of ideal, and dont know what to do next.

They were not able to help. The problem was that the factory install of Vista Home edition into the laptop did not give me admin rights to change DEP setting. So I Upgrade the OS into full install of window 7. Beware of factory install system.

There is another reason to keep an older version, if you have older files (.moho in particular) you may wish to open. AS9 Pro doesn't seem to like them. Actually any older version would probly do.
