Shortcut Key Layers within a Switch Layer

Post by Kedric »

Is there a way to shortcut key different layers within a switch layer. It would be A LOT quicker doing lip sync with shortcut keys rather than having to right click and select the layer from a list every time.

I tried to set it up using actions but the shortcut keys with the actions only work while the animation is playing.

Can somebody please help? Is there a script or something available?

If there is no script available, it would be worth the time to make one.

I am really hoping somebody can help me do this. I have been checking this message board every couple hours and I am sad to see that nobody else is intersted in knowing how to do something like this. Does nobody else do manual lip sync?

Most of us check only once a day, or less frequently. And writing a good, bug-free script is not a matter of hours. So better don't wait for an immediate solution.

That said, your suggestion wass already introduced into discussion in the developer's board, since it fits into the field of general UI improvements especially for power users.
