Lip sync changes audio pitch

Hi, I recently upgrade to Pro 8 and have a strange problem. When I try to lip sync my character the pitch is significantly lowered. This happens when I record in Anime and when I import my audio track. My females are sounding like old men. How do I keep or edit the pitch of my voice track? Thanks in advance
