script confusion.

hello. I'm stupid.

That said, I'm trying to get into the whole scripting, now granted, i'm no computer genius, but I at least tried to download a script. specifically it was the morph dial script by rudiger. The features were amazing and I have so many ideas that script could really help me out with. But then, I couldn't figure it out. It was like trying to learn calculus all over again. I placed the lua file and all that stuff into the script/tool file and it actually showed up in the file, but when I followed along with the youtube tutorial, nothing happened.

my question is, would it happen to be incompatable with ASP 8 which is what i'm using? I know it's not rocket science, yet I seem to be losing my mind over it.

Hello stupid,
It should work fine with v8 (although 8.2 gives it further speed boosts)

did you copy the resources folders over too?
is the demo AS file provided working?
check the hierarchy of the layers in the layers palette.
Are the embed scripts in place?
if you open the morph dials menu script, is 'real time morphing' turned on?

I think that last thing you said might be the culprit, but I'm not sure how to activate the 'real time morphing' option. I've looked for the morph dial script option last night but I couldn't find it.

Is it on the interface of the program itself or do I have to find another way to do
