Depth sort/layer order for Blend morphs head turn question
I have a head turn using blend morphs and actions. What I am having trouble with is the ears on a head turn. Basically, bringing an ear layer forward of the face layer. When using blend morphs sliders, everything looks ok. When actually keyframing or taking the blend morph, then I see that my ear only moves forward in layer order at the last frame when I would like it to move forward as soon as the blend morph is engaged. Is there a special method to make this work? I have also had problems to conceal the ear furthest away visually on the blend morph head turn.
ok, I found a post addressing this
Thanks to a post from selgin "victor" - it looks like layer order needs to be manually keyframed after the blend morph. I wish it was totally automatic, but it is still better than hand drawing frame by frame.
