How long you been animating?

Just was curious, How long everyone’s been animating?

For me Its just recently started back up, In high school I took a special computer class which did animating and Photoshop stuff. My teacher said I had the passion for animating and some talent (Even though I'm not as good as all of you probably..) I guess. But then I took a very long break from it and now started back up again.

Professionally, only 6 years. But I was animating for 9 years before that in my spare time.

Now I do it in my day job, I can't bear to waste my precious spare time doing it!

That's impressive! What did you start out with for your medium? Stop motion? Cel painting?

32 years ago I did a stop motion of a spaceship fly by over Michigan.

Painted a map of Michigan on a plexiglass and painted cloud on another layer moved the cloud layer FBF
