Vectors seperating at frame 0

Post by ChaseNJersey »

Hi. I read a tutorial that said to separate the body before you add bones, which I did, then added bones, and after that I used offset bone to place them back together. Now at frame 0 everything is separated and when i click on the transform bones it all goes back together, so it is working correctly...

BUT ... when I need to actually work on a layer I can't do what I need to do when everything separates as soon as I click on the vector layer and the translate tool... It is driving me insane because even if I try to move the layers back together at frame 0, once I click on the bones layer everything gets messed up.

Is there a way to not have the character separate when I click on a vector layer to edit?? :(

Allow edit at non frame zero and then copy the editions keyframes from, say frame 1, to frame 0.
Alternatively use onionskin at frame 1 to match shapes which are offset at frame 0.
