Finaly got one done

Post by Seyrse »

It was quite a learning experience. Hopefully the next one will be both faster and better.

H.G.

You export the pars of your images in PNG format with transparency.

You load them then use them with bones as if the we're vector layers.

There is a tutorial in the manual.

PNG cut and paste

Post by Seyrse »

Almost all of the heads I used I got from the web. Then via Corel PhotoPaint turned them into .png files. This let me get rid of all the background and set them in a transparent box. After the opening where I used the Anime technique to get the mouths in sync with the audio track

Image

I realized it was going to be faster to just create my own mouths. Many of the pictures I got were close but they all just had these smiling mouths I needed teeth and tongs. For the Anime to look right you need some space in the mouth to spread open and close. Or you get the big BIG teeth like Bachman has.

Image

I just copied the chin area and lower lip, changed the mouth and then put the two back together in a layer that I could move as a unit.

By the time I got to the end the Monty Python method seemed to be working quite well. I did run in to a hang up with layers as how to get the last group of elephants from behind the foreground road layer to in front of it. So I cheated with a dissolve as they came in. I need to play around some more with the layer switch thing and get a real handle on it.

Thanks for the feed back. I do remember reading that in the manual awhile ago.

Thanks for getting back to me on my question, most don't. :( Soooo, Corel Photo Paint (CPP) is the way to go for .png files. Or, basically any program I can use to create a .png file. I have no clue how to use CPP, unfortunately. But, can I just use the head of the image with CPP?
