Why can't I change the angle of my gradients??

Post by Dadoo »

I'm using AS Debut 8, and I can't figure out how to change the angle of a linear gradient! This should be a basic thing to be able to do, but I can't see anywhere that I can do it. Am I missing something?

Also, why doesn't the halo gradient show up? AND how do I get a gradient (radial, halo, soft edge) conform to the custom shape I've created?

Thanks in advance for the help!

You can change gradient direction (while using SelectShape tool) with the handles, which would appear after applying shape effect. Also, usage of handles can create keyframes.

Halo is not shown in the main window, but rendered frame will show it.

There`s no ...elementary questions ,) glad to hear it helped you.

There is a lot of video tutorials, made by people from this forum and all of this combined with the original AS video tut`s... pretty soon you will answering others... elementary questions. Full sails, and boldly go where you haven`t been yet ,)

Knowledge is to be keped, not shared, you will never get my secrets, ever!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHH!!

Sorry about that, a bit of over pressure from work here. :)

as maestral pointed, tons of tutorials on the forum, plenty of references as well, but I encourage you to dig the manuals that comes with ASD as they answer most of the questions you will ever have.

This said, they are not the best, so as away in doubt or if the manual does not answer your prayers!
