Z axis loop; A technique worth learning

Post by 3deeguy »

Slowtiger posted a clip showing a continuous zoom effect. The file he created for the clip had a total of three keys. That includes the key at frame zero... I was stumped for several hours.
I call it the 'slowtiger oscillating camera technique' and I even created a folder named "OCT" for my experiments.
I posted a video where I try to randomize a trail of asteroids. http://youtu.be/sw5EM7JGeMI

Simple but effective. If you add more asteroids at the sides you'll enhance the depth effect. (And since I see it I recognise that I could've saved some work weeks ago when doing a zoom job ...)

this should probably be in tips and tricks, not share your work :)
Thanks for sharing though.

Oops! I see it. The title says "...A Technique Worth Learning". I could have titled it something like "Asteroid Field". Sorry. I'll get it right next time.
