Importing images.

Post by dodgyville »

Hi, I love moho, it's a great program. I use the Linux version, which is great!

Anyway, I did a music video that required importing thousands of images (one video frame for each frame). I wrote my own script to generate the moho file (yay for text based files!) and it loaded fine, but I found that the program was slow to use (not really a surprise!!!) and also crashed quite often.

I noticed that when moving around the timeline the program would get slower and slower until freezing. I know that it was an unreasonably high load to place on the program, but I thought you might like to know...

Also, an "import multiple images" option would be good too :)

Good luck,
Luke

You could have made the images into a video and imported the video into Moho. Might have been easier on Moho and your computer.

Janimatic made a lua script for moho that does just that:

You can't import videos in the linux version. Writing my own script was trivial really. The big problem is the crashing. It's easy to get around (just work with smaller animations) but I just thought I'd mention it...
