Importing Illustrator files. Colour accuracy & layers...

Are there any tricks to importing adobe illustrator files with correct colour accuracy? The file I imported was way off the mark.

Also, how does one import a layered illustrator file in ASP7 or ASP8 while keeping the layers separated?

No, Illustrator files are always imported as a single layer.
