HELP: my characters head isnt auto or manually filling with

This is weird. The head appears to be all closed with points but it doesnt automatically fill nor can i manually fill the head. I dont see any un-closed spots so what could this be? I drew a circle next to it and it filled with color. So there is something wrong with my head. What are some faq on what could be wrong?

Maybe it is filled with white, or the color of the background.

Have you tried to select the fill(Q), delete it, then refill it?

The fill is not white.(skin color) theres no background. I fixed the problem though by exiting the program and then when i got back in the style stuff was reset so that was the problem i suppose. Thanks though. Idk how well that method will work in the future.
