I've been playing with fire again and came up with this. It's made with particles and I think it looks pretty good. You can find the technique I used for it in the TIPS AND TECHNIQUES section under the thread titled "nice fire effect". What do you think?

Pretty damn good. Realistic, but just graphic enough as well!
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

It has a cool, almost fluid motion to it. Using that same technique would create a convincing volcanic eruption, I'd imagine.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think I'll try this technique to a water effect next. I'll post it if it comes out good.
