Keep stroke width uniform when dealing with groups??

Post by Poptoogi »

Hey all!

I was wondering, is there a way to keep all my stokes looking uniform when working with groups? I often make a group layer for eyes on a character and have a separate layer for the head. I do this for masking reasons. In doing this I us a lot of scaling in grouped layers thereby changing what the actual stroke width looks like when rendered. A 1 point stroke on one layer looks tiny on a grouped layer that has been scaled down in a group. It is frustrating as hell to get them to look right and uniform. Plus, I'd like strokes to look the same regardless of how close or far the camera is or how much I scale or what grouping they are in! Is there a way to achieve this in AS? It would be a most welcomed addition to AS if it isn't a function already!! :)

Try going into the vector layer settings and unchecking the scale compensation option. this should keep the stroke width consistent.
