Poser to Anime Studio Pro 6

Post by jaakay »

Hi,

Could someone please direct me to a tutorial or inform me how to manipulate a poser character once imported into Anime Studio Pro 6.

Not sure what to do with it as I can't see how to add bones to it as no tools in the left pallette are highlighted.

Thanks in advance for your help. :)

sorry, you will need AS7 pro if you want to manipulate a poser figure with bones. AS6 will treat the figure as a static 3-d object. you can translate, scale, or rotate the object but that's about it. you can create a bone layer and place the object into it, but the bones will only work in 2-d space so it would be like an image layer rigged with bones. you really only get a warping of the object. this might work for some things, but it's really limited.

Thank you for clearing that up. I had a go at adding the bones. I think when I tried before I missed out a few things like double clicking on the skeleton layer and then going to Bones Tab and selecting Region Binding.

Anyway, you are right. The results are not very good.

Thanks again. :)
