sorry, you will need AS7 pro if you want to manipulate a poser figure with bones. AS6 will treat the figure as a static 3-d object. you can translate,scale, or rotate the object but that's about it. you can create a bone layer and place the object into it, but the bones will only work in 2-d space so it would be like an image layer rigged with bones. you really only get a warping of the object. this might work for some things, but it's really limited.
Thank you for clearing that up. I had a go at adding the bones. I think when I tried before I missed out a few things like double clicking on the skeleton layer and then going to Bones Tab and selecting Region Binding.
Anyway, you are right. The results are not very good.
