Creating a new switch layer

Hi all

I've just installed Anime Studio Pro 6 on my Mac and I can't create a new switch layer as suggested in the manual. I can click on the new layer button but the option is simply greyed out. The only types of layers I seem to be able to create are Image, Audio and Note.

What setting do you think I need to change?

[Edit] I clicked something or other and can now do it. Inexplicably. No idea what I did there. Any suggestions welcome.

you were not on frame zero.

Yes! That would be it. Ta. Shall avoid that in the future then.

Just figured out why my animation wouldn't export properly all by myself. I'd unplugged the device my images came from.
