Adding a script in ASD7?

Post by StickFights44 »

I want to add a script to Anime Studio Debut 7 but I don't know where to put it, and where I am putting it doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions?

Debut can't have menu scripts. You only can add tools and buttons scripts. Look on the forum how to install them.

PD: menu and buttons scripts are technically the same, so you can install any menu script you want on your toolbar.

So there is no way to make it work in debut? If not then if I upgrade to pro would it work then?

There are 3 types of scripts: Menu, tool and button.
In debut you only can't install menu scripts, but still being able to install tools and buttons.
The big secret is that Menu and Button scripts are the same thing. So you can install that kind of scripts as buttons of your toolbar (your toolbar will become bigger with each script you install)

I see that you commented on the Round edges script. Would that work in debut? It shows up in the tools menu but doesn't do anything

add this line to the _tool_list.txt file
button ds_round_edges ...
(that's the way you add a button)

thank you so much! It finally works. One more question though...When I create the line, the circle comes up as not smooth. Is it always like this? If I put it on facebook or youtube will it still look like that? Thanks

Another thing... If the line width is 8, how can you set the circle so it sizes right?

Please, write your doubts about this specific script on the corresponding thread. Sorry, it's just to keep the things in order. Thank you.
