Script request: Subdivide

I think a script exists for increasing point count on a drawing, but what this script would do is add two adjacent points.

Something like this
The + sign is a point

a point is selected: +

script is run

result: + + +


Additional functions within script:

The ability to set a distance via percentage from original point.
Run the script on multiply points or single
