Anime Studio Pro 5.6 - Windows to Mac OS X

Hi,
I've been using Windows for all my Anime Studio Pro 5.6 creations, however, I've just switched over to Mac OS X and downloaded the old trial version for Anime Studio Pro 5.6 today.

When trying to input my Windows serial number, however, it keeps saying "The serial number is not valid" and will not accept it. However, I have tried the same serial number on the Linux version (when it was able to be downloaded), and it worked perfectly.

So how can I get it to work on Mac OS X (Snow Leopard)?

As far as I know, the mac version uses different serial numbers to Windows. Maybe when they made the Linux version, they couldn't be bothered to use a different generator so they used the Windows version for that platform.
