creating a hand drawn look

Post by minimacman »

I just bought a wacom tablet and I'm wanting to create a hand drawn look, much like the style in "animation test" in the moho gallery of the coyote. I did get a chance to draw something, but I can't get that look. Everytime I draw a line, the line changes a bit once I stop drawing. Is there like a setting or something so my lines are a bit more free or what do I need to do?

sample i did- ( a bit to much like flash.....)

In the "Freehand Option"-window (on the top of the main window when the freehand-tool is selected) you can change the "pixel tolerance" and the "angel tolerance". Put these at a minimum (I think that's 2), then Moho will change your lines as little as possible.

I find that the best way to get a "hand draw look" is to draw on a program like the gimp or artrage and export as a png file with transparency.
Then use the png file on moho.

preciate more help. I actually started drawing my character at the angle I want on paper. I then place the paper on my wacom table and follow my lines. works well.
